Validator
Block validators in DPoS refer to full nodes who verify that blocks created by witnesses follow the consensus rules. Any user is able to run a block validator and verify the network. Based on voting performed by master voter, staked voter and non staked voters top 21 validator will get chance to validate blocks and confirm transactions performed by users.
To setup block validators users need machine with below configuration which may varies as blockchain grow:
CPU: Intel i5/AMD Ryzen 5 and above
RAM: 16 GB DDR5
Disk Space: 80 GB
Operating System: Ubuntu 20.04 and above
Network Speed: 1GBPS Recommended
Staking Requirments: 500000 HyperonChain (HPN) coins
Staking Rewards: 15% of total rewards for validated block
To setup block validator follow steps mentioned in Validator Setup article
Locking:
a. Unstaking allowed only after 10 days of initial locking of 500000 HPN
b. Rewards withdrawal allowed only after 10 days of initial locking of 500000 HPN
c. Withdrawal allowed after 7 days of unstaking
